The prototype of the Biogon 75 mm f/4.5 lens for Linhof 4x5“ cameras. Engraved "OPTON Oberkochen Nr 2552201 1:4,5 f=75mm 90° (specification of the angle of view)" on the front ring, the lens designation "Biogon" missing! The serial number in the typical prototype serial number range (2.552.xxx - 2.600.000). Close serial numbers of other known prototypes for Linhof lenses are 2552103 (Planar 100 mm f/2.8) and 2552121 (Sonnar 180 mm f/4.8). The optics with minimal dust inclusions and a slight haze.
