The prototype of the famous 80 mm Planar for Hasselblad 500 type cameras in black with T* coating, engraved "OPTON Pl 1:2,8 f=80 mm T* Nr 2594540 Oberkochen" on the front ring. The serial number in the typical prototype serial number range (2.552.xxx - 2.600.000). Other serial numbers of known Hasselblad prototype lenses include 2593978 (Sonnar Superachromat 250 mm f/5.6), 2594144 (Distagon 60 mm f/5.6), 2594464 (Distagon 50 mm f/4), 2594489 (S-Planar 135 mm f/5.6), 2594807 (Sonnar 150 mm f/4), 2595002 (Tele-Tessar 350 mm f/5.6).
