Comment | Made in the post-war years by Wetzlar based company Dr. Hensoldt which mainly made Binoculars but also sold Leica copies from ISO (Milano, the Reporter) under his name. You also have the prototype Hensoldt Standard without the rapid winding lever on the baseplate. Very rare lens for uncoupled Leica screw mount. Only very few lenses are known to exist today. The barrel in very fine condition, some traces of fungus in the lens coating (cleaned). Super interesting, historic piece from Wetzlar. |
