A prototype from Ettore Boscoli's workshop commissioned for the Borletti brothers (Fratelli Borletti). Exact copy of a Leica IIIa. Partially, the prototype might be of original Leica parts. The lens is a completely independent prototype without any engraving. The camera was intended to be an export product for the argentinian market, but never reached commercial production. Included: Handwritten note about this prototype by Ettore Boscoli, dated 1948, black bakelite box with initials „FB" (Fratelli Borletti). Literature: Hans P.
