Frica Subminiature Camera

Unknown maker. Dark red finish with black leather covering. Possibly French or German. Unusual in design and very rare. At first glance, it resembles a ladies' powder box. The attractive red bakelite plastic used in its construction would certainly be fitting for such a feminine item. The horizontally styled semi-circular shape of the Frica hasn't been seen on any other camera, before or since. Whoever designed the Frica certainly kept aestetics in mind, and the form of this camera is really very beautiful.
