Extremely rare Soviet camera rifle, produced only in a very small series. The offered specimen has been presented to Nikolay Nikolayevich Voronov. Voronov was a Soviet military leader, chief marshal of the artillery (1944) and Hero of the Soviet Union (May 07th 1965). He was commander of the Red Army Artillery Forces from 1941 until 1950. The wooden gunstock engraved "Н. Н. Вoроновч" and below "ОТ ГОИ" ("N. N. Voronov" and below "from GOI“). With reflex housing without serial number engraving and with 45° finder. Black paint finish GOI 30 cm f/4.5 lens with serial number 3621. The lens in much different design to those of the well known GOI and KMZ FS-2 FotoSniper. Complete with FED Type Ie camera No. 178974 with special mount, three FED film cassettes, lens hood, orange filter, cable release and a special key to lock the gun stock in place - all in its matching carrying case. The outfit in astonishing, almost like new condition.
