Prototype of the Jupiter-9 lens from GOI's own development for the Arsenal Kiev rangefinder cameras with Contax bayonet mount. In 1947, the first lenses for the Kiev were made still from Carl Zeiss Jena elements and parts. From 1948 KMZ delivered lenses that they had produced entirely in-house.
A small punctual coating defect inside, otherwise clean and with a strong blue coating.
Included: Both caps and matching wooden storage box, marked with the lens data, Kiev camera No. 494450 from the matching production year.
