Leica IIIc K gray "W.haven" Outfit
An extremely rare variant of the gray Kriegsmarine Leica IIIc K, with the engraving "W.haven" and the Imperial Eagle with Swastika on the topplate above the serial number. Only 30 such outfits with Summitar 5 cm and Hektor 2,8 cm lenses, as well as matching viewfinders and lens hoods, were delivered to BERLIN in 1943, of which only two other examples are known to us to date.
This set, from the first owner, features a Summitar 5 cm f/2 No. 561113 (diaphragm sticky) and a Hektor 2,8 cm f/6.3 No. 580346. Both with "W.haven" and the Imperial Eagle with swastika engravings on the lens flange. Also included is the original matching VIOOH universal viewfinder with "W.haven" engraving (the Imperial Eagle with Swastika have been defaced). The camera with Summitar was delivered to Berlin on June 16th 1943 and the Hektor on August 23rd 1943, each with delivery number 9839.
The military engraving on the topplate has been almost completely defaced. Otherwise, the entire equipment is in very fine original condition.
Included: Lens hood SOOHN and 2,8 cm viewfinder SUOOQ, lens hood SOOFM and an everready case.
