One of two cameras known to us to date that were delivered to UNRRA (United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration) in Munich on June 12th 1946. Engravings on camera and lens defaced. With the original coated Summitar 5 cm f/2 No. 588729 from the matching delivery. Vulcanite cracked on the back and slightly loose, but still complete. The optics with minimal dust inclusions and a light haze. UNRRA was founded as a world aid organization in 1943 and taken over by the UN in 1945. The UNRRA saw its central task in the registration, care and repatriation of people from the member states of the UN who had been kidnapped or deported. Included: Lens cap and everready case.
