Leica M7 black 0.58 10501 Ian Berry

This camera was used by English photographer, photojournalist and member of Magnum Photos, Ian Berry. Ever since his youth, Berry had wanted to become a journalist and initially worked as an amateur photographer. In 1952 he moved to South Africa and worked for local newspapers such as the Daily Mail and the Drum magazine. Berry produced numerous photo reports on the Congo and the Algerian crisis, he also travelled to the Middle and the Far East. Berry became vice president of the Magnum photo agency in 1978. The M7 camera body with black embossed Dymo label "IAN BERRY" on the topplate rear side and black embossed Dymo label "0.58" on top of the topplate. Included: Ian Berry's certificate of authenticity, including the original invoice from Leica Camera Limited to Magnum Photo Ltd., warranty card, test certificate, Leica Passport Application, original packaging.
