The legendary first version of the 35 mm Summilux containing two (ground) aspherical elements. Introduced in the late 1980s with catalogue code 11873, it was projected as successor to the 7-element 35 mm Summilux, but production was discontinued only after a few hundred units were completed. Engraving "ASPHERICAL" on name ring. This example in pristine condition with clean optics. Included: Original lens hood 12587 with front cap, rear cap.
