Leitz Canada Summilux-M 75mm f/1.4 Prototype

Experimental lens Nr. 5 to the Leitz Summilux 75 mm f/1.4 of the second version with the optical design C391. With built-in lens hood. The development of this milestone in the history of Leica lens design goes back to Dr. Walter Mandler. The engravings are partly deviating from those of the later series production. Almost like new condition. The optics have slight dust inclusions and minimal linear coating defects.

Included: White box from Leica Solms, probably from the time of a later sale to company employees.
