E. Leitz Canada enlarger lens with apochromatic correction.
In the 1970s, the so-called "U.S. Navy High Resolution Small Format Camera System" was developed in Midland on behalf of the American military. It was a series of apochromatic corrected special lenses for the Leicaflex SL. Under the direction of Dr. Walter Mandler, among other things, the famous Elcan-R 1:2/75 mm was created. The system also included the EN-121A enlarger, which was a modified Leitz Focomat IIc.
Beginning separation in the cemented front element, slight haze.
