Leitz Leica Standard Model E X-Ray Röntgen

It is a modified Standard from E.Leitz New York for Westinghouse X-Ray. Therefore with the W.X. engraving on the lens flange and N.Y. serial number on the top plate. The camera has only one shutter curtain and a fixed shutter speed. For use with the Xenon. It has the special N.Y. 71 serial number on the top plate. A very rare and authentic conversion made on special purpose. Only very few Leitz cameras were allowed to have a different numbering system. It has the correct export base plate with large OPEN - CLOSE engravings and the small tripod screw mount. It has the correct Xenon in Feet without infinity lock (removed) Nr.288406. See James L.
