Leitz Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 Prototype

During the time of the ever more booming business with the Leitz SLR cameras, attempts were made to implement lenses for the R- and M-system based on a uniform optical formula. In the case of the M lens offered here, it is such an example. The lens head from the development of an R lens with formula number B704. Experimental lens without parallel mount and with a diaphragm scale scratched by hand. A Summilux-M lens of such design was never produced in series.
