Leitz Tele-Elmar 135mm f/4 Prototype

Three years before the market launch of the Leitz Tele-Elmar, three experimental versions of the new lens were produced on the basis of formula B662. The name ring is just engraved with ‘Elmar’ - still as its predecessor. The lens offered here is in extremely fine condition. Certain differences, also in the mechanical design of the lens mount, can still be recognised, compared to the later series version.
The optics with minimal linear coating defects and dust inclusions.
