Black Nikon F2, owned and used by the legendary German fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh, the camera shows patina of years of professional use, included with the camera is a letter of provenance from a family member of Mr. Lindbergh, Peter Lindbergh (1944-2019). Peter Lindbergh was a German photographer and filmmaker. After studying painting, he turned to photography in 1971 and worked for 2 years as an assistant for the Düsseldorf photographer Hans Lux. In 1978 Peter Lindbergh moved to Paris, where his international career began. He photographed for magazines such as Vogue, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone, among others, and became one of the most renowned star photographers in the world. In addition to his work as a fashion photographer, which has received numerous international awards, Lindbergh was also active as a director and filmmaker.
