Very rare Japanese Leica copy in superb condition. In total, only 90 pieces of this Nicca Type-5 variation have been ordered by the Australian importer Gardner and Salmon Pty. Ltd. of Sydney, with less than 60 sold. The remaining 30 cameras were disposed of because they could not be sold as new. With the original collapsible Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon 50mm f/2 No. 3870137. Obviously the name „Snider“ was a play on words and derived from the German lens maker Schneider. We are only aware of around five other specimens. The camera in top condition.
