Voigtländer f. Leitz Leica M39 Heliar 3.5/50mm Nickel

This is a version I have never seen before. As you can see the barrel and focusing mount is of a nickel Elmar. It is a very very early type from 1931. The Voigläner Heliar 3.5/50mm lens head is from 1922. I can not tell if I have seen such a lens before. Especially the lens head with the fluted design and the aperture setting ring are very nice. I do believe this has been made on a special request. The finish, the signs of use and wear all match each other so a lather marriage is very unlikely. The lens serial number is also engraved on the rear lens block. To me a unique lens.
